Personal data policy
DX Digital Limited ensures that no personal data relating to clients and network contacts is communicated to third parties outside of the company unless given their explicit consent.
We only hold basic information (name, company, business address and email) for occasional marketing purposes where opted in, for invoicing purposes, and in order to carry out any contract. Our list is cleansed every twelve months to ensure recipients are still relevant and actively interested in our offerings. We will not share any of the information with any third parties for marketing purposes or store any of your information outside of the European Economic Area.
The information you provide will be held securely by us and/or our data processors whether the information is in electronic or physical format. We do not collect more information than we need to fulfil our stated purposes and will not retain it for longer than is necessary. Capturing and storing data on behalf of our clients
Where digital projects require us to store data on behalf of a client or agency partner, DX Digital will store data securely on Our Hosting Partners’ servers located within the European Economic Area, or on a server specified by the commissioning client.
Any collected data will be promptly deleted from our servers once the promotion/project has come to a close. Clients are responsible for ensuring they securely transfer and safeguard the data once collected from our secure areas. DX Digital access to data is primarily developers’ to access the data to ensure the smooth running of the project. We will not access the collected data unless entirely necessary, we will not share it. We will provide the client with access to download so that data does not need to be indirectly transferred.
It is the the client’s responsibility to instruct us on the end dates of projects. Clients should regularly purge data and clearly communicate the amount of time required to fulfil the promotion in order to ensure we do not hold data longer than necessary.
Third party integrations and website hosting
DX Digital use Digital Network Solutions to a) host websites where applicable b) staging servers - their policy is available here.
Where third party services are utilised eg, hosting, CRM, CMS, API, Subscription services etc, it is the client’s responsibility to check 3rd party GDPR policies prior to provision of accounts/development. DX Digital will not hold your account credentials unless required to do so in order to fulfil requirements of the project. Where appropriate, they will be promptly erased from our records once the project has been completed and tested. Any credentials we do store, are held in line with the terms of our internal security policy. Stored credentials are reviewed and, where appropriate, purged every six months.
This website may send cookies to your computer. Cookies are pieces of data sent through the web and may be stored in your hard drive. Cookies cannot gather information or read files on your computer. The purpose of cookies is to monitor the traffic on our website for company marketing reasons. The company does not sell this information to third parties.
In the event of a data breach, we would notify the ICO of a breach within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, even if all details are not yet available.
